Preschool Director Position
Killearn Kids Preschool, a ministry of Killearn United Methodist Church (Tallahassee, FL), is now accepting resumes for the Preschool Director position. The Director is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the educational program for 130-140 preschool children, ages 2-5, including VPK. This position oversees a staff of approximately twenty teachers and assistants, many of whom have been with the program for more than ten years. Candidate must have B.S. or B.A. with an active teaching certificate or equivalent experience that demonstrates ability to serve. Candidate must also have, or be willing to obtain, Florida Department of Education Director Credentials with VPK Endorsement. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about VPK and ACSI (or similar) accreditation standards and will have past management experience, preferably in a preschool or child care center.
