Camps
Killearn Kids Camps has two programs: After School and Summer Day Camp. Our desire is to share God’s love and His word with families that come to our campus.
The After School program runs concurrent to the Leon County School calendar. We offer transportation from KLES, DTES, and RES. Gilchrist ES provides public transportation to the KUMC campus. Daily activities include outdoor play, crafts, homework room, free choices as well as structured and unstructured play. On Wednesday, the children participate in Chapel where they are engaged in a Bible story and life application. We finish the week with Super Fun Amazing Friday, a day full of games and activities based on a crazy fun theme.
The Summer Day Camp runs for eight or nine weeks between June and August. Campers are grouped by grade, and cared for by two counselors who plan activities for their class. We offer chapel, crafts, bible, game room, outdoor games, music, and many other activities. Each class will also go on two field trips a week to various places around town. Children will not only learn about how much God loves and cares for them, but also how much they are loved by the staff.
